In this article we focus on the first-generation Hyundai Santa Fe (SM), produced from 2001 to 2006. Here you will find the 2004, 2005 and 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe fuse box diagrams, information on the location of the fuse boxes inside the car and the assignment of each fuse (fuse layout) and relay.
Information from the 2004, 2005 and 2006 owner’s manuals is used. The location and function of fuses in cars manufactured at other times may differ.
The fuse for the cigar lighter socket in the Hyundai Santa Fe is fuse #F1 in the instrument panel fuse box.

The fuse box is located in the instrument panel (on the driver’s side), behind the cover.
Engine compartment
The fuse box is located in the engine compartment (left-side).
Inside the fuse/relay panel covers, you can find the label describing fuse/relay name and capacity. Not all fuse panel descriptions in this manual may be applicable to your vehicle. It is accurate at the time of printing. When you inspect the fuse box on your vehicle, refer to the fusebox label.
