In this article we take a look at the first generation Acura MDX (YD1), produced from 2001 to 2006. Here you will find the Acura MDX 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 fuse box outline, get information on the location of the fuse boxes inside the car and learn about the assignment of each fuse (fuse layout) and relay.
The fuses for the cigar lighter/power outlet in the Acura MDX are fuse #5 in the secondary underhood fuse box (rear accessory socket) and fuse #9 in the passenger-side interior fuse box (front accessory socket).
Fuse box location
Engine Compartment
The primary under-hood fuse box is located in the back of the engine compartment on the passenger’s side.
The secondary fuse box is in the engine compartment next to the battery.
Passenger compartment (Driver’s Side)
The interior fuse boxes are located underneath the dashboard on each side.

To open the fuse box on the passenger’s side, pull the right edge of the cover.
