To access and clear the fault codes stored in the control unit’s memory, proceed as follows:

  • Turn the key off and press the diagnostic button.
  • Two sets of flashes from the EDC warning light with a short pause in between indicate the code number of the first stored fault.
  • Press the button again to move to the next fault.
  • When the last fault is reached, the cycle starts again from the first fault.
  • The fault list contains all the faults stored in memory, not just the active ones.
  • The order in which the faults are displayed follows the chronological order in which they occurred.

To clear the fault code list from the control unit memory, proceed as follows

  • Turn the key off and press the diagnostic button.
  • Keep the button pressed and turn the key on.
  • Press and hold the button for 5 seconds.
  • Release the button.
  • Turn the key off.
